How to make an easy Facebook cover photo with Picnik

Yes, Picnik was bought by Google and is being integrated into Google+, but not until the end of April. Use Picnik free photo editing app while you can! (The premium features are free now as well!)

I wanted to make a quick tutorial on something easy and fun you can do with your Facebook cover photo.
Here is how I did it:

1. Download the white high res picture I provided at the bottom of this post. You cant see it because it's white, but its there. It is the right size for your cover photo. This is a good starting canvas.

2. Add stickers or shapes, or color the background. The shape always turns out black, but use the editing box that pops up to edit the colors and more. Arrange shapes to your liking.

3. Add your text under the text tab. The same thing happens when you click on the text (brings up the editing box to change the color, size, and more. Remember to bring the text to the front, right click the text box and click Bring to Front. There are lots of cool fonts on Picnik too.

4. Don't forget to save with the Save & Share tab. You are ready to upload your photo to your Facebook page!

TO DOWNLOAD YOUR HIGH RESOLUTION CANVAS, CLICK TO VIEW AND THEN RIGHT CLICK TO SAVE.
